Start after midday — Broadway's shops open late and there is no reason to be early. Mandarake is not one shop but a couple of dozen units scattered across the upper floors, each specialising: cels, vintage shōjo, figures, watches. Prices are firm and the good stuff is behind glass. Two Chūō line stops west to Kōenji for the vintage racks, then stay for the standing bars under the arches once the shops close.
